- About 2 years ago, Ronnie Ritche (author of TextPro +) announced a final
- version of TextPro and offered to provide a copy of the source code to any
- registered user who paid some extra money for it. ($12, plus upgrade
- charges I think) I sent Mr. Ritche the money, but never received either the
- final upgrade or source code. A follow-up note sent a few months later
- when the intended shipping date slipped past went unanswered.
-
- I sold all my Atari 8bit stuff a year ago out of necessity, so I counted
- the money as lost. Anyone know if Mr. Ritche ever did release the TextPro
- source code to anyone?
-
- BTW, the original version of TextPro had its roots in COMPUTE!'s
- SpeedScript. The source code for this was published (although as machine
- language BASIC data statements).
