  22. The problem with downloading in the background is that is that the GS is
  23. probably not good enough to keep up the pace of the sender. Once while I
  24. was using sz in the background, even a simple ls command would cause the
  25. transfer to slow to a nearly unacceptable rate. This is ok for sending,
  26. because you're just making the receiver wait for you, but the sender won't
  27. wait when you're receiving!

  29. BTW, what's a good way to "transact" with my Unix account without leaving
  30. GNO? I tried TelCom, but its terminal emulation (sorry Jawaid) really
  31. sucks. Like it writes ^J when it gets ^J. It should perform the action,
  32. not display the character!
