- You can make animations from converted .fli frames. Take it from me,
- I've converted maybe 20 .fli files this way. You have to do the following
- to make sure you can make a paintworks animation:
-
- 1) Have a large capacity storage device handy.. if you're converting .fli
- files that take up more than 40 frames.
-
- 2) Use FliAway on the SuperConvert package to extract frames to your large
- capacity storage device.
-
- 3) Enter SuperConvert and select IBM & Compatibles as the computer to
- convert files from and ".AA files from FliAway" as your convert option.
-
- 4) select either C0,2 Apple Preferred or C1 uncompressed as your
- destination file.
-
- 5) after all the frames have been converted (through painstakingly
- converting each frame) enter either Paintworks Plus (RECOMMENDED),
- Platinum Paint, or Dreamgrafix.
-
- 6) Compress the frames. Make sure each frame is numbered .000,.001, etc
- for Dreamgrafix or Paintworks Plus (can be .00,.01, etc too for PW Plus or
- Gold)
-
- 7) There ya go... a fli file to watch!!! if u have any questions or would
- like to see some of the fli files I have already converted to paintworks
- format, drop me a line at either address listed below.
