- Yes, which is why the finder's aliasing for folders on the desktop is
- better. Which do you prefer?

- A main reason why people want to use aliases for normal things on the
- Mac/GS is that finding things in the finder takes a while. WHo wants to dig
- through 6-7 folders to get to an application? This can also hold true on the
- GS. However, I'm sure that when they were desinging System 6, it may have came
- up and discarded because there was more important features and functions to add
- to the OS. Its not that I don't feel that they are important, its just that
- there is only a finite amount of time that the Apple II team has to work with,
- and there are more important things that they need to address first. Perhaps
- one day it might be added, but don't hold your breath right now over it.
