- Admittedly, playing OOTW takes some getting used to, but after you've
- figured out what kinds of things you need to do to clear a level, it gets
- less frustrating. So, if you want to clear the first level...
-
- When the game starts, swim up in the tank. Start running towards the right.
- You'll soon see some crawling leeches. When you see them, crouch down, and
- kick all of them. I think there are 5. Then, hang out for a second or three,
- and a giant beast should appear; looks kinda like a lion. When you see him,
- run all the way to the left, as fast as you can. When you see the swinging
- vine, jump on it. When it breaks, it'll deposit you behind the best. Then,
- run all the way to the right.
-
- At that point, some friendly alien will escort you to level 2. All I'll say
- about level 2 is that when the cage breaks, look down.
-
- Of course you'll die a zillion times. Whenever you do, write down the code.
- Then, you can re-start the game at that level.
-
- When I first started playing, Burger Bill told me to keep rememberiong that
- it's a port from a Nintendo game. Keep that in mind. It means, there's not
- really any randomness to it.
-
- BTW, on the GO GAMERS forum on CompuServe, there's a complete walk through.
- It's nearly 20 pages when printed out. I personally feel it's way to soon to
- start spreading that around, but, maybe in a couple of months...
