- Okay, I got it in the mail today. Lemme start from the top:
-
- It's written such that if you don't have an accelerator, it's at a
- reasonable speed. If you have an accelerator, it's still at a
- reasonable speed, but you can take advantage of a larger screen.
- There are 4 options: 16mm (full screen), 35mm (matted: 3/4 height,
- full width), 70mm (letterboxed: 1/2 height, full width), and
- Television (1/2 height, 1/2 width). With my Zip 9/64, full screen was
- fine, and matted was amazing (smaller screen, but all the animation
- was a bit faster, not that it was slow with full screen).
-
- Okay, the game starts with an AMAZING intro where your dude drives
- up to the lab, goes in, starts an experiment, and gets zapped 'Out of
- This World'. Absolutely spectacular graphics and sound. Blew my
- socks off.
-
- Then, the actual game starts. Unfortunately, I can't get past the
- damn buffalo. I haven't tried all too hard yet, but it's kinda
- disconcerting when I can't even get to the 4th screen of action...
- I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just saying that I was too impatient to
- keep trying to get around/past the damn buffalo, or whatever it is.
-
- The whole game is in a cinematic format. As you get through the
- game, the plot unfolds, etc. Your guy's movements are pretty
- realistic. The sound through the game play is great. Hell,
- everything about it is awesome. It's hard drive installable. It uses
- resources, so there are only 2 files to copy onto your hard drive, one
- from each of the two floppies.
-
- Wowza. Here's something to put on that christmas/chanukah list.
