- This makes me think maybe there's a volume control on the sound card you don't
- have turned up. On my Sonic Blaster, there are (I believe) two little dials on
- the actual card that we had to turn up to about medium volume level. They
- usually come boxed with the volume all the way down, so you don't accidently
- blow your ears out if you hook it to an amp the first time you use it. I'd try
- looking back through the instructions for a manual volume control. At least
- with Sonic Blaster, I think it says to keep it at medium volume if you plan to
- use an amp (I have it hooked to my stereo) and up farther if you don't.

- I'd still try checking the manual volume (on both/all of your sound cards). If
- that's not it, I don't know...
