-
- Yeah, and if they added it you would complain the program was too big.
-
-
- BTW, in case some of you haven't seen SCALA yet, you gotta see their
- demo scripts that come with the MM200 version shipped with the 3000P's!
- It comes with some really neat transitions, backgrounds, etc...
- and the user interface looks kinda' spiffy as well.
- Too bad it still has a few bugs. It crashed (not very ofter I'll admit)
- on the 4000 I installed it on about once every 45min. I'm not sure what caused
- it.
-
- Their standalone player *never* ran one script without crashing immediately!
- The disk could have had a glitch though.
-
- The nicest thing about SCALA is everything in the software, including the
- backgrounds, fonts, music, and transition/effects that come with it *look*
- professional.
- Unlike the POS demo CBM did with AmigaVision that uses the most horrid
- music and simple graphics in the 'Hands On' section of the demo.
-
- BTW, I think it would be very wise for CBM to update the AmigaVision feature
- that builds data disks to include compression. (If I can do data compression
- on a Z80 based embedded system, I'm sure they can buy 'The Data Compression
- Book' and add one to AV. ;-)
- But then, when did they ever do anything wise.
