- Hi, I'm trying to eradicate the Clist and Saddam virus' from several of my
- disks. From what I understand, Saddam rewrites its own disk-validator
- onto all disks. I tried using BootX -- it opens up, tells me that I
- have the clist virus and then gurus. So I tried Virus_Checker. This
- appears to work but does not delete the disk-validator (it deleted it from
- the first disk I tried (system disk) but not others). After it's done
- scanning the disk it tells me that the disk is not validated. How can
- I get rid of this disk-validator if the disk is not validated?? The way
- I see it is that I have to copy all of my unvalidated disks onto good disks
- and trash the old ones. Is this correct or is there a better way? And
- also, why does BootX guru on me?
