- I noticed when I got my mega midget racer, and had the 030 active I had some
- output on the workbench icons screwed up. Meaning the letters under the icon
- had lines through it and other messyness. I only had to move the icons to get
- a redraw of them for a correction. But I was wondering what is causing that?
- I don't notice in most all other apps except aibb 5.0, no way to have a redraw
- on it though, so there is messy lettering in it on every line. I don't have
- any 32bit memory just 16bit memory. I got the board for the mmu and the 881.
- Also I got a board that is overclocked, but the people at Memory World said
- they tested the cpu's they overclock, so I have a 20mhz 030 overclocked at
- 25mhz. But on sysinfo, preaty much most of the releases, states that my
- cpu is clocked at 24.20mhz, that is sysinfo tested to find out the speed.
-
- And when I use the 68000 on the mmr board, there is absolutely no problem.
- So could anyone tell me if it is the overclocking, 16bit ram, or something else?
- I don't know if is the cause of any other problems, but I do wonder. I have
- had situations where I couldn't find a reason why something went bad. Like
- running a vistapro for about 48 hours and having a problem when I get back
- onto the computer it might lock up. But then there are other times I could
- have it running several weeks without a hitch. If it is overclocking the
- problem I will just get a 20mhz clock put into it. Since I am thinking of
- doing that just to find out if that is the problem, but If anyone else
- has had this prob or knows about it, would help. Oh by the way I was running
- enforcer some of the times when the system went down, and there were no hits.
