- Hello... I've noticed quite a few A2090A HD controller cards
- for sale on the net at cheap prices. Since I've grown rather tired of my
- Supra interface I'd like to know a little bit more about the 2090A.
- I do know that it supports both MFM and SCSI drives, but is it fast,
- does it support Kickstart 2.0?
- Here's my current setup:
- - A500 with 40Mhz VXL 68030, 68882, 2megs of 32-bit RAM
- - Pheonix Toolbox (provides 2 Zorro II slots), with one slot occupied
- by a Micron 2meg memoryboard (16bit of course).
- - Supra SCSI interface (old version for the Amiga 500, non-DMA)
- - Old piece-of-junk Seagate HD with sticktion problem - I want a Quantum!
- - Kickstart 1.2 ROM on the motherboard, Kickstart 2.04 ROM on the
- accelerator.
-
- Is there any reason why a 2090A wouldn't work with this setup?
-
- Please respond via EMail. Thanks!
