  11. O.K., heres the trouble. I just got a NEC CDRom drive NEC-80 int. unit.
  12. Computer setup:
  13.     A500 6.5meg fast .5meg chip
  14.     GVP SCSI+Ram controller GVPSCSI.DEVICE V.3.7
  15.     Kickstart 34.5
  16.     W.B. 34.28
  17.     CDRom-FS
  18.  
  19. I installed the CDRom-FS with its icon and then changed the startup-seq.
  20. Mount NEC: from Devs:mountlist.CDRom
  21.  
  22. I have the rom drive set a device 5, and all I did was in the mountlist.CDRom 
  23. I changed the controller to gvpscsi.device
  24.  
  25. Try to boot and it looks up.
  26. Try to mount the CDRom drive from CLI and the system locks up!
  27.  
  28. What am I doing wrong or is it time to upgrade the GVP.Device, or the
  29. kickstart &OS , all of it or what.
