  11. I've just ordered a Maxtor 85Mb 2.5" IDE drive for my A1200, unfortunately
  12. the supplier was unable to supply a cable to go with it: so does anyone know
  13. if there is anything special I need, or is if just a straight IDE cable?

  15. The manual says that the A1200 IDE controller interface is a 40 pin AT-BUS,
  16. but I took the cover off the A1200 and counted 44 pins (22 pins in line), so
  17. is this 40 pins plus Power or what?

  19. Any suggestions appreciated, mail me direct, and when I get it sorted I'll
  20. forward the final result for anyone else with the same situation...
