- The 3M MCD40 tape drive is no longer manufactured, but still useful. I
- purchased mine 1-1/2 years ago for $99 from Wierdstuff Warehouse in
- San Jose, CA. They carry a lot of surplus stuff, but I don't know if they
- still have any MCD40's left. You may have to look around for one. And
- no, mine isn't for sale.

- Used/remanufactured SCSI (e.g., Archive or Wangtek) tape drives (which
- store much more and are much faster than the MCD40) can be found for $400
- or less.
