- The price for Vivid 24 starts at $2995 I think. With the Digital Editmaster
- System (I think the name was) that you use with the Vidid ($2495 more,
- starting price) you can actally grab 24-bit 30frames/s with real-time JPEG
- compression 1:15 to 1:70 directly to the harddisk, edit and then reply real-
- time. Sure, it's much $$$ for a private person, but for (say) a local TV
- station, it's pure peanuts compared to what you get.
