- Andreas> Is it possible to use the Kick 2.0 in the A1000? Regarding my

- Andreas> odd second). Is there a discription (hack) available?

- I'd been thinking of upgrading my A1000 WB 2.04 (or 2.1 or whatever). I've
- seen mention of KwikStart II giving you switching between 2.04 ROMs and
- disk-based (i.e. 1.3) KickStart, I think. What I'm wondering is what doing the
- complete upgrade would cost, and where to start looking to find information of
- the pieces I'll need to do it. Presumably what I'd need is KwikStart II (or
- some other solution to get KickStart going), and the actual OS software from
- Commodore. Is anything else needed?
-
- Other things on my system, that I currently assume will work, but ought to
- verify...
- -Microbotics Starboard II with 2Mb installed
- -Supra SCSI i/f (v1.10f or something like that...I've heard that I
- should upgrade to a Supra III or so...I need to give them a call).
-
- Any helpful guidance would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanx,
