  20. From what I have gathered from here, the AGA chips will not go into an A3000
  21. and currently cannot go into a slot (tight timing etc.). Someone recently said
  22. that there will be an OS3.0 upgrade for non-AGA machine so they will get some
  23. extra speed from the rewritten graphics.lib, but no extra colours.

  25. I was a bit peeved, when I heard about the no retrofit AGA stuff but Dave H.
  26. dropped some hints about what was going into OS4.0, such as DIG and display
  27. postscript. So, if this does happen (within the next 12 months or so) I think
  28. you should be able to fit any graphics card you like or can afford. The idea of
  29. display postscript, hopefully as a screen mode, sounds wunnerful.
