  33. As a matter of fact, I am posting this right now from an A4000 equipped with
  34. an A2065.  Everything works well and there has not been a single problem with
  35. either the software or the hardware.  As for Zorro II boards not being 
  36. comfortable in the A4000, I'd be interested to know what is meant by that.
  37. I totally disassembled the A4000 the day I got it and the boards fit as well
  38. as they did on the A3000.

  40. Performance wise, the A4000 w/A2065 performs on par with the A3000 w/A2065.
  41. I typically get 100-120k/sec from the hard drive and 150-180k/sec from the
  42. ram disk.  While not quite as good as a Sun workstation, it is faster than
  43. most 386 and 486 boxes around here.

  54. Actually, you can use a serial line and telecomm software.  A friend of mine
  55. has his A500 connnected to a Sun 4 that way and gets good results.

  61. use FTP several times each day with no problem.
