- As a matter of fact, I am posting this right now from an A4000 equipped with
- an A2065. Everything works well and there has not been a single problem with
- either the software or the hardware. As for Zorro II boards not being
- comfortable in the A4000, I'd be interested to know what is meant by that.
- I totally disassembled the A4000 the day I got it and the boards fit as well
- as they did on the A3000.
-
- Performance wise, the A4000 w/A2065 performs on par with the A3000 w/A2065.
- I typically get 100-120k/sec from the hard drive and 150-180k/sec from the
- ram disk. While not quite as good as a Sun workstation, it is faster than
- most 386 and 486 boxes around here.

- Actually, you can use a serial line and telecomm software. A friend of mine
- has his A500 connnected to a Sun 4 that way and gets good results.

- What is not nice about it? I have RLoginVT sessions going all day long and
- use FTP several times each day with no problem.
