- relative size of the Amiga/PC markets, the problem is
- magnified for the Amiga. If 90% of 3 million Amiga owners (and
- this is grossly oversimplifying) play only games that they
- own, that's a market of 2.7 million. If 50% of, what, 10 million
- clonies buy their games, that's a market of 5 million. You do
- the math.

- Incidentally, I don't much care for the latest Sierra games,
- either. It seems like a lot of time is going into making them
- look pretty without worrying about whether they are good
- games. Two recent games I have played (PQ3 and Willy
- Beamish) suffered *tremendously* from a problem with
- linearity. There were events which, if you missed them at
- their appointed time, you were SOL - yet you couldn't
- finish the game without them. More's the pity Infocom
- isn't around much anymore . . .
