- G'day everyone,
-
- I have seen both The Harpoon Masters Pack (including Harpoon v1.3,
- NAC, MEDC, The Persian Gulf and The Harpoon Scenario Editor) and Third Reich
- at my local store and would like to know what every thinks of these games.
-
- I like Harpoon very much, having played it a lot. But is the
- Masters Pack any better???? Does it have any improvements over ordinary
- Harpoon (except for the obvious financial benefits!)??? Is the Persian Gulf
- Scenario pack any good???
-
- I have played Third Reich as a board game and enjoyed it immensely...
- Is the Amiga version as good??? What is the interface like and does it have
- good response times (even in the campaign game!)??? How does it handle
- multiple country's as alies, independant nations like Poland and Sweden etc???
- Is it as complex as the board game, or easier to play??? Does it incorporate
- all the rules and subrules of the board game??? Is a computer player a good
- opponent (ie good strategist)???
-
- BTW : Here in Oz The Harpoon Masters Pack sells for $99.00
- and Third Reich sells for $69.95
-
- Currently it is a toss up between these two games and Links for my
- next purchase (which is a way off yet!)... I would just like some opinions
- before I make a final decision...
