- Not particularly. At work, I have used standard 486DX-33's, and my
- roommate has a 486SLC-33. I don't see a whole lot of difference. Norton
- SysInfo returns about 74, as I recall. As a matter of fact, the number I
- got with Norton on the 486DX was only about .2-.3 more. Also, I haven't
- noticed any problems with the Cyrix chip....no incompatibility. We are
- looking into getting computers with the Cyrix chip for our consulting
- office because of the price savings.
