- I am sure hoping that Emplant is a success. And I'd think anyone interested
- in the succes of Amiga feels the same.
-
- You have to admit that UU's strategy of using the net to launch and maybe
- debug Emplant is a good idea. It would have costs thousands of dollars
- and taken months to test Emplant with all of the various boards and hard
- drives out there. I am not so sure that it was the intent of UU to use
- net readers as beta testors. I'd guess that most of their problems stem
- from enthusiasm and expectations-too-high. But they seem like typical
- Amiga people. ...people who just love computers and like Amiga because
- of it's superior design and capabilities. And Emplant will be good for
- all other Amiga users since it will greatly extend the power of Amiga
- computers and enhance their maketability.
-
- My hope is that netters help UU out in getting Emplant to fly and in
- return that UU get on with the 386/486 emulation and keeps the price of
- emplant down. There's no substitute for positive thinking and good will.
