- I've just bought a GVP 80MB A530 for my A500 (upgraded to WB2 and ECS). I've
- been running a BBS (the main reason I bought the GVP) for about four months now
- with a Supra 2400 Plus modem. The software I use to answer the phone is
- TrapDoor 1.83. Everything is hunky-dory until I try and download a file (like
- my Fido mail packets) with the serial port set at 9600 baud (it`s a buffered
- modem). Then I get lots of transmission errors, every 2k bytes or so.
- Downloading at 2400 baud is fine.. but slow.
-
- I know this isn`t a configuration error as I've tested it without the GVP, and
- everything works fine as it did before. It doesn't work with Term 2.4 either.
-
- Has anyone else had any problems with this kind of configuration, in particular
- with the GVP A530?
-
- Cheers,
-
