- OK, I have tried to compile DNet with Coherent (old version, non-386) and
- it didn't go through...
-
- Here's the reason: It needs the socket library to work.
-
- I asked Coherent about socket support and it's nogo in the old version and
- anybody's guess on their new 386 version. They told me to wait for
- February.
-
- Linux, well Linux is another thing... I have installed version 0.98.1 this
- weekend, and I will be trying to compile DNet once I get GCC running
- properly on it. Linux DOES have the socket capabilities, but since I have
- not tried to compile DNet on it yet, who knows...
-
- Bug me so I will keep you informed...
-
- I am also working on a Beta for Etherlink II support on Linux kernal.
