  13.     What I do in those situations is either repeat the ls (no problem
  14.     at a high baud rate), or copy the relevant chunk of the buffer to
  15.     a file, and view it with a text display program or editor.

  17.     The latter course also lets you move around in the data even if
  18.     you start downloading a file, etc.
