- I'm having a problem getting UUCICO to connect to my newsfeed system
- via a different system.
-
- The System I'm getting news from does not have dial-in connections, so
- here is what I do.
-
- At WMU we have a terminal server, which I dial into, and hit return
- twice to get a "Enter username> " prompt. It doesn't really matter what
- I type here, as long as I type something. I usually just type 'c' and
- hit return. Then I get a "Local> " prompt. At this point I type
- "connect winnie" which connects me to our VAX system. The prompt I get
- is "Username: " (Let's say 'Rick' is my username), then I get a
- "Password: " prompt. Let's just say my password is 'garbage'.
- Once I'm logged in, I get a "--VAX-->" prompt, at which I must type
- "telnet 141.218.40.40", then get the normal unix login/password
- prompts. (For the sake of helping me out, assume the same password
- and username.
-
- Can anyone help me write an L.SYS entry for this? I've tried everything
- and nothing seems to work.
-
- The first part would be

- Thanks in advance!
