- I had much of the same problems that Mike did. The AT&F2 command does set
- many of the right switches, but the key switch that helped my modem connect
- without lots of junk streams was to turn on Data Carrier Detect. (I think
- that it was AT&C1, I don't have my manual with me) I don't understand why
- Supra has the default set to "DCD always on" (AT&C0).

- Make sure that a power cycle on the Supra is more than a second or two in
- length. I found that occasionally if I power cycled too quickly, it
- scrambled its brains. (I haven't tried this since the 'H' roms came in.)

- The new 'H' roms made my life easier, too. I found that with modems I
- could connect with a direct connection, now accept MNP5 just dandy.
- Connections are smoother, and mode retrain is wonderful. <:-)
