- I disagree that the FAQ which I reposted illustrates a sad state of affairs in
- Amiga networking. It shows that there are several products available from
- several vendors which offer various solutions to different problems. AS225 is
- one solution to one problem -- the problem of communicating on a campus or
- global network via TCP/IP. It is pretty darn good at that, and is in no sense
- incomplete. It does not, in the currently released version, provide a very
- good solution to the problem of hooking up an AmigaDOS-only network. Just
- because it isn't a solution to your problem doesn't mean that it is incomplete.

- Presumably you mean "What are Commodore's networking plans?" Engineers aren't
- generally in a position to make any statements about Commodore's plans
- whatsoever other than to parrot what has already been announced. Rest assured,
- however, that our networking group is hard at work and that you will probably
- be *quite* pleased with their efforts.
