- I believe you are referring to the fact that many A500's shipped with
- an inactive 1 Meg Agnus, therefore it only acts as a 512k Agnus. You
- COULD take the computer to someone who knows what they are doing and
- they could activate it, but when I asked my dealer about this, he said
- it might have negative effects considering the setup (A500, inactive
- Fatter Agnus, 512K fast), because I might run into problems with having
- ALL of my memory as Chip RAM.
-
- Anyway, I now have an A2000 (the 500 was TECHNICALLY my parent's, but
- you can guess who used it the most), with a REAL 512K Agnus and 4.5 Megs
- fast, so does anyone know the current price of a 1 Meg Agnus?
-
- Thanks
