- Cards are where the Amiga appears to be heading. The CPU in the
- A4000 is on a card, not on the motherboard. RTG means that video will
- be moved to a card/daughterboard. What's wrong with putting audio on a
- card? By keeping audio on the motherboard in custom hardware, the only
- people you can get audio from is C=. By putting audio on a card, the
- doors are open for 3rd party developers to release their own products.
- The key that will make or break 3rd party audio is what level of
- support the OS will provide for audio cards.
