  19. Seriously, TeX isn't the easiest thing to learn but it *is* quite
  20. easy to use once you get past the learning curve (cliff).
  21. Honestly, I don't do much stuff with math but I have diddled with
  22. various graphical equation editors and found them to be rather
  23. cumbersome when compared to TeX.  It seems that as the learning
  24. curve flattens, the ease of use suffers; easy to learn and hard to
  25. use versus hard to learn and easy to use.

  27. I have yet to meet a single person who has ever regretted
  28. spending the time to learn TeX.  The only possible problem is the
  29. tremendous frustration you will encounter when forced to use a
  30. "normal" wordprocessor for something.
