  18. There are reasons.  I have an a1000, which I paid $100 for, and can't
  19. really afford the $100 upgrade to 2.0 (I have to buy a romswitch for the
  20. a1000 also, because it has a 256k RAM area that it loads the ROMs into).
  21.  On the other hand I don't count on everything working, but it would be
  22. nice if applications (esp things found on ftp sites) said somewhere
  23. easily readable that they require 2.0.

  25. I guess you could say that no one should be using an a1000, but that
  26. seems awfully silly since they are still pretty well supported
  27. computers.
