- While in just plain old dos, it never hung. It usually got directory
- errors, but when trying to go into invalid directories, it sometime
- reported errors that didn't seem totally relevant. Such as "file not
- found".

- Windows, however was another story. Not only did file manager not read
- the disk, but when trying to read the directory tree from it, it
- cold-booted the machine!
