  26. They usually have bugfixes released (and this sound like one) free
  27. after every major release as PPage 3.0 and PDraw 3.0 were. But
  28. they might be adding support for AGA chips and because of that it
  29. may cost you.

  40.    At this point I basically gave up - said thanks, and hung up.  The guy
  41.    on the phone didn't seem very willing to offer information.  He didn't
  42.    sound very imformed either.  I was hoping to hear something like "Oh, we've
  43.    got that fixed and will be sending fixes out to those who need them"
  44.    or something similar.  Next VERSION???  I'm not looking for any more
  45.    features or anything, just something that works!  BTW, it sounds like
  46.    ProPage broke too...

  48. I think they have something wrong with their programmers. They seem to
  49. do lot of code which doesn't work in new OS (or even new patches).

  51. It broke in 1MB chip machines. I broke after a new 1.3 patch etc...

  53. For example that 1MB chip thing shouldn't affect programs if they
  54. are well written.

  56.    Well, instead of complaining to the guy on the phone, who probably really
  57.    couldn't do anything anyway, I'm going to write a letter to Gold Disk.
  58.    I don't expect to get anything out of it but I want to let someone know
  59.    how some of the users feel (at least me anyway).  If anyone has any comments
  60.    they would like to add I would be glad to include them in my letter.  I may
  61.    include this post, I guess it depends if I get any responses or not...

  63. Write a nice (don't complain too much) letter telling your problems and
  64. they propably will listen to you. Complaining too much isn't likely to
  65. help you at all.

  72. I tested PPage3.0 a while ago and decided not to upgrade because there
  73. seemed to be a bug with non-interlanced PAL resolution with 
  74. fonts missing line or two from the top. It made text look very bad.
