NTape2.1 is TAR. No commercial software seems to allow for the writing of 1 block at a time, or deals with this drive specifically.
I'm using BTN v2.1 and tar. I don't have those problems. Try increasing the number
of blocks used for buffers in your MountList. Are you using Johnathon Hue's tar
