- C, Assembly, etc). Since it IS BASIC, the code is easy to understand
- (not to mention that the AMOS editor debugs stuff for you). It is

- Ok, good point (AMOS is ported from Atari STOS, then improved, but some
- code still should remain compatable). I'm not saying is a good language
- for learning CS, but for a beginner programmer (and it has many uses
- beyond educational as well).

- Proof time. Where is it? AMOS uses subprograms (like C, Pascal, etc.)
- which is a fundamental idea for computer science, as well as introducing
- concepts and terminology that they will use in other languages on the
- Amiga (if they want to learn another language).
