  25. Well, welcome to the real world, I still think that the upgrade prices are very
  26. reasonable, but there are research costs that need to be covered in order to
  27. make a profit.  Other computer companies ask you for an arm, a leg, and eye and
  28. your genitals in order for the upgrade, then you go through a great deal of
  29. trouble making it work (i.e. System 7.0).

  31. Commodore has offered great deals for upgrading (1000+1000=2000, etc...), other
  32. computer companies don't care if releasing another computer renders your system
  33. totally obsolete.  I think that instead of complaining you should thank
  34. Commodore, because even though I don't think it is the best run company I still
  35. think that they care for the customers, something that other computer companies
  36. (Read Apple, IBM, Intel, etc...) forgot long time ago.
