- I don't think you quite understood what Clive Jones meant Gary. He
- doesn't mean nfs on a UNIX machine, I think, but pcnfs on an Arc.
- Theoretically it could work by exporting a directory on a UNIX machine
- containing the Replay files to the world. It would be a bit hard to
- hack the files if they were on CD ROM (:-).

- In practice it is unlikely to work because an Arc trying to mount the
- directory over JIPS would probably time out because it would be so
- slow. Might be an interesting experiment to try though.

- Ftp between JANET sites with JIPS goes at about 15 - 20 Kbytes per
- second and I suspect Replay files need a bit more bandwidth than that
- so even if one could mount the directory they couldn't be used
- directly.
