  13. When looking through my 3B1's Telephone Manager User's Guide,
  14. I noticed that the active RS232 pins seem to include

  16. Transmit clock  (15)
  17. Receive clock   (17)
  18. Clock out       (24)
  19.  
  20. as well as the usual pins 1-8 and 20.
  21.  
  22. This leads me to wonder if there's some way of connecting the 3B1
  23. and Worldblazer in syncronous mode, but otherwise using it the same
  24. as now.  (I'm not actually sure the device driver SUPPORTS syncronous
  25. mode, nor how to use it) (The 3B1, for those unfamilar with it,
  26. runs a varient of System V.2)

  28. I have not looked at this in detail, and am not sure I'm going
  29. to have the time to.

  31. 1. Can you use the 3B1's RS232 in syncronous mode?
  32. 2. Are there any significant advantages in doing so?
