  13. I recently posted a message asking if anyone had sucessfully compiled
  14. mawk on the 3B1/7300/UNIXPC machine.  I received no responses, so I
  15. am following up with a more specific question.

  17. Is there some (as far as I can tell, undocumented) method for turning on
  18. floating point exception trapping for normal math operations so that
  19. division by zero, overflow, underflow, etc. will generate a SIGFPE (or
  20. can be trapped by some other mechanism)? If so, could you provide the
  21. necessary details.

  23. This is for the 3B1 machine running version 3.51m of the OS.
