- I am doing some operations on a number of images, which are all of
- different sizes. One thing I want to do is to split each image
- up, and extract four subimages, one for each quadrant of the
- original. I can do that with vextract *AS LONG AS I CAN FIND
- OUT THE SIZE OF THE ORIGINAL IMAGE AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO
- VEXTRACT WITHIN MY PROGRAM*. Any ideas on how best to achieve
- that?
