  16. I had posted a problem which I am having with cantata some time back
  17. and I did not hear about it so I am posting it again ...

  19. I am running KHOROS on Sun4 (SparcStations/Servers) with SunOS 4.1.2
  20. and Openwindows 3.0. The KHOROS code was compiled with bundled cc with
  21. dynamic linking (if that if of any relevence).

  23. I have noticed that when I run the KHOROS programs via cantata (using
  24. the visual interface), after the individual glyph (ie its corresponding KHOROS
  25. program) has finished execution, my process table entries still include its
  26. entry though now as <defunct> process. Actually entry is not cleared completely
  27. till cantata quits !!! This means that slowly and steadily the process table
  28. on the system gets full and finally the system can not fork any more processes !!!
  29. (I can not do even pstat :-). I would like to know if any one has had similar
  30. problems on Sun4s and has any solutions to it ...
