- Here is one for your list:
-
- 1) What is KA9Q ? What is needed for istalling it?
- 2) Experiences of people who have (currently) installed
- and running TCP/IP using KA9Q ?
- 3) We can have a list of pitfalls, warnings, bugs found,
- and (post to this group every month) and upload it
- to an archive (anon. ftp) site, then refer to this
- place to get the info.
- 4) Various applications, brands of PCs that people were
- able to run on/with. ?
- 5) How to install KA9Q ? (I know that this question may be
- irrelevent to this group, however I feel the
- documentation provided with the software is no very
- explicit to new or people with no experience with
- TCP/IP. The author is NOT to be blamed.). If the
- moderator solicits advice/info from people who have
- successfully installed this, through the net, I think
- it is a good place to start.
-
- I feel that many will agree with me, that most of us would also like to
- connect to work or other internet sites from home over serial lines.
- Thus it is important to share this "HOWTO" information with one another
- through the FAQ.
-
- I suggest that the moderator(s) post a final list of questions
- that would appear on the first posting, and take a popular vote to
- see where our needs and interests lie.
-
- NOTE: If you have ideas, comments, recommendations or plain discussion
- post them. Any flames please send them directly to me I am willing
- to listen.
-
- Thanks,
