- I made this first post. I don't mean to press a point that
- really should not be discussed to much further onthis group,
- considering that there is going to be a FAQ soon, it seems. ( Yeah! )
- Anyway, my question was a little harder to answer than that. I got the
- drivers for slip8250 and ethersl. I've even got them to load into my
- computer a few times w/o causeing it too glitch. That was nice. But
- now what? How can I dial and negotioate a connection? A simple dial
- sriptc won't work because my modem a 14.4kbaud is really picky and
- usually requires several tries to connect, etc.
- I guess the purpose of this post is to suggest a little more
- to be included in the faq :

- o Specific instructions for using Telnet over the phone. That
- is, instructions for non computer science majors. This is info that is
- not present in the NCSA documentation.
- o Common snags in installing ka9q or NCSATelnet.
