  36. One of the causes of the keyboard going in the shift state has to do with 
  37. the keyboard controler chip. There are some revisions and the F revision 
  38. should be fast enough to prefent the problem. The keyboard controler is 
  39. responsible for switching the A-20 gate and on SX and faster machines with 
  40. High memory enabled it just can't keep up with the speed. There are some 
  41. ways to go around this problem (besides switching the controler chip). If 
  42. you use himem.sys try different machine type with /machine:xxx switch. If 
  43. you use Qemm try the IA switch (ignore A20) or the U8 (unusual 8042).
