  14. As a lot of people, I continue my quest for a simple way to PC-printing...

  16. Our last idea was so simple that I dont understand why it doesnt works:

  19. put the_file LPT1

  22. I have tried it in PCs running FTPSRV and QvtNet. The first, from pc-tcp,
  23. rejects to open it (bad file number, it says). But QvtNet is a better guy,
  24. it tries to open and windows 3.x show the System Error message:
  25.                                       "I can not open device LPT1"
  26.  
  27. The question here is, why cannt it open the device? Is it already opened
  28. by QvtNet? QvtNet sucessfully uses LPT1 to make "underground
  29. printing" from telnet sessions, so it is not a authorization problem.

  31. Any suggestion? Coun Win3.x or Qvtnet be modified to let us open LPT1?
