- System: SunOS 4.1.2, PPP: 2.2-beta.
-
- Now that I've gotten it working, I want to be able to run RWHO and
- ROUTED etc, without it triggering the dial-out. I tried disabling
- those protocols in the access file, but what happens is that the
- attempt is flagged as an error, and genuine protocols get bounced as
- well, because of the timer intervals. We don't have RWHOD source
- (this is SunOS), and I'm struggling with GATED (which the "README"
- recommends to use, in preference to ROUTED).
-
- Could another protocol be added, e.g. "ignore udp rip" or similar,
- so these packets are silently discarded? Of course, once the link
- is established they'll go through.
-
- Is there a later release that 2.2-beta?
