- In NetBEUI there is not a routing layer. Instead each host is refered
- to by its MAC layer address. Because of this there is the ability to
- use a MAC level bridge to internetwork two or more lans together. In
- fact this works quite well. On token ring it also uses MAC level
- source routing which some people consider routing even though it is
- not at the network layer of the OSI model.

- if anything is available yet nor am I convinced that it is needed.
