- Hi all,
-
- We're thinking about asking the campus Information Services department
- to give our house a wire into the net, which apparently they will do for a
- modest fee :). Now, as many of us in the house already use a small LocalTalk
- network to do some file sharing and play net games, it would be nice just
- to shift the Ethernet line coming in down to the LocalTalk, probably using
- an IBM PC, since we have an unused one and I know how to program it. Now, the
- question is, where can I get specs on how to encapsulate IP in the AppleTalk
- packet? Really all I need is the spec, as I've done some pretty heavy
- AppleTalk work myself in the past. Any clues would be greatly appreciated,
- and responses by mail are also greatly preferred.
-
- Thanks!
-
- Matt
