  12. I have a DEC RZ23 that refuses to spin up. I remember someone posting
  13. information about needing to set the spinup NVRAM bit on these drives, but  
  14. didn't say how.   Could someone please tell me what command I need to send
  15. and how I send it.
  16. My DTC3280 controller finds the disk even though it does not spin up
  17. and reports it as a "DEC RZ23 (C) DEC0A18".
  18. I have a diagnostic program that came with the controller that will format
  19. and send mode sense and mode select commands.  Is this what I need?  Or
  20. will I need another SCSI command program?
